  Tanzania horticultural Association (TAHA) is an apex sector member based organization mandate to develop and promote the horticultural industry (flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs and horticultural seeds) in Tanzania. TAHA’s goal is to improve the growth and competitiveness of horticultural industry in the country for social and economic gains. TAHA is looking an effective voicing platform representing value chain actors (farmers, processors, exporters and service provider) in the industry. TAHA is looking for a qualified candidate for fill the below vacancy

PROGRAMS MANAGER
The Association is looking for a dynamic and experienced person to head the programs Department. The chosen candidate will be stationed in Arusha and will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide a focal position in projects initiation/development process
• Coordinate the implementation of TAHA’s project activities and make sure they align with the Association’s strategic objectives of providing professional services to TAHA’s member and the wider horticultural industry
• Ensure the team collects, organize, store and manage project documents and information such as guiding indicators, etc
• Develop a robust quality control system to ensure accurate data is collected and reported
• Supervise and coordinate the development of projects work plans and action plans
• Review and oversee projects workplans and ensure that development plans are timely executed, monitored and controlled
• Function as a liaison between the implementing personnel, project stakeholders and the office of the CEO
• Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of TAHA projects to ascertain impacts and divergences. Using the results of M & E to advise the management on the positive project trends
• Ensure timely reporting of the project progress to the CEO and the Development partners
• Assist and advice on the management and control of project resources
• Any other duty as assigned by the CEO
Qualifications and Experience
• A degree in the field of agriculture, agriculture economics, economics and trade, business administration, international development or related areas. A Masters degree in any of the mentioned fields will be an added advantage
• Experience of at least 3 years working in a development project, NGO, donor organization, association or any project-related organization
• At least 2 years professional experience in the areas of project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
• Good analytical and interpretation skills
• Computer literacy, i.e. Word processing, spreadsheet and power point
• Diligent, highly organized and self- motivating individual
• A person with high integrity
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills particularly in engaging with the private agricultural sector in order to achieve results. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• A valid driving license required as considerable field work is involved

Job description
- To troubleshoot system problems and repair of such work

Experience requirements
Minimum of 3 years working experience in auto electrics,
preferably experience on underground mobile equipment.
Hands on Mechanical experience would be an added advantage.

Knowledge
Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills applicable to the workplace.
Must have a valid driver's license

1 POSITION: LOGISTICS & WAREHOUSE OFFICER, BUZWAGI
Mission Support Atlas Copco service operations through effective management of stock of spare parts, consumables and components in order to achieve targets for:
• Maximising Equipment availability
• Minimising Operating costs
• Minimising Working capital
Specific Activities
1. Stock planning, quotation preparations and order booking to various Atlas Copco sources
2. Arrange received parts and components in the warehouse in order to achieve proper preservation, good housekeeping and easy access for issuing in accordance with proper safety observations
3. Issue Spare parts and components to Atlas Copco service staff against authorised requisitions.
4. Maintain records of items issued both electronically and in hard copies. Raise internal or external invoices (as required) for items issued.
5. Stock Management Functions including:
a. Preparing consumption reports.
b. Preparing re-order reports.
c. Expediting reports.
d. Coordinations with Logistics Service Providers for shipments and clearing of consignments.
e. Carrying out planned and ad hoc stock take.
f. Goods transportation planning both local and indent consignment
g. Stock returns.
h. Ensuring safety of stock.
7. Maintain high standards of workman ship and observe safety and environmental
requirements.
8. Other Duties as may be assigned by the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor or Atlas Copco Management

Experience requirements
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse, particularly experience within mining industry will be an asset

Educational requirements
- University graduate or advanced diploma in Engineering or Material Management
- Computer skills are a must

Personality requirements
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills and proactive
- Must be willing to relocate and travel to any work site/Branch on temporary job assignments

THE JOB: DEPUTY DIRECTOR- TREE GROWER ENGAGEMENT
LOCATION: IRINGA, TANZANIA.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES: The overall objective of this role is to ensure that small scale planters in the southern highlands have access to high quality planting materials and knowledge on best trees planting practices that will result in increased yield and revenues from better quality wood products. The ambition for the FDT is to develop systems such that this objective can be met in a sustainable manner with funding and capacity derived and developed within the industry.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Demonstrate competency in leadership and administration of an extensive farmer training and outreach programme
• Demonstrate strategic thinking in establishing sustainable market-led programmes
• Demonstrate ability to refine activities through continuous improvement & learning
• Be able to work in collaboration with the Government and other organizations which are strong in training and community engagement
• The Deputy Director should be ambitious, determined and entrepreneurial and must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully building training organizations and operational capabilities of effective, performance driven management teams
• It is expected the Deputy Director will have at least 15 years work experience at a high level within, ideally, a large private sector business or a major public or public –private partnership organization
• Demonstrate efficient management of Financial and other resources
